*Workshop on Hair cuts*

Department of Cosmetology organized a workshop on Hair cuts on dated 11 January 2021 in which keynote speaker Mr. Ajay Gulati, Hair
expert from Exotic Institute of Beauty and Nanny, jalandhar enlightened the students. It was attended by all students of Cosmetology. The Resource person conducted his session by highlighting the basic degree’s for all haircuts and also demonstrated some latest haircuts. He told that to cut any hair, it is very important to have the knowledge of degree or angle, at which the hair is cut, if you have knowledge about it, and then you can do any haircut very easily. It was followed by interactive question answer session where different participants put their questioned quenched their thirst of knowledge up to the level of satisfaction.

Motive:
This workshop was aimed at letting the students to get knowledge of advance haircuts and the basic angles of hair cutting.

Outcome:
Students were apprised with the latest techniques of hair-cutting.
They also understood the concept of angles or degrees in hair cutting.
Apart from this they also came to know about latest tools for hair cutting.
