A Six Day Orientation -cum- Faculty Development Programme from 17th August to 22nd August 2020 on 'Communicative English' was organized by Mrs. Reena Malhi and Ms. Indrani Bose, teachers of the Department of English . The online sessions arranged during this programme aimed at enlightening the faculty about the correct usage of the English language in their daily communication.

Motive : To enhance the linguistic competence and communication skills of the faculty.

Outcome: The faculty of the school and college were provided with a platform to upgrade their communicative, speaking, writing and public speaking skills. They learnt how to frame situational conversations, present their self-appraisal-cum-self introduction effectively, drafting letters, resume and also learnt the correct usage and practical application of tenses, homonyms, homographs and homophones. The inhibitions and doubts of the faculty regarding pronunciation and usage of sentences in the English language were also addressed and cleared.
