Objective – The main goal of this field visit to SimbaQuartz is learning through direct observation of real-world projects, systems, and other relevant information. It will determine the focus of project work of student syllabi and will provide the relevant information. It will enhance their critical thinking skills and gives students a chance to think about a topic or theme of project work from a different perspective.
Report - Students of PG Department of Commerce & Management and Computer Science & IT visited Simba Quartz Company Tangra. Simba Quartz is all about digital marketing & IT services. Students visited Simba course centre and the main office. Mr. Dilsher Singh, Vice-President, (Operations) explained various career job options after completing graduation in Commerce & IT streams. He also explained about various job profiles in Simba Quartz and importance of UI & UX recently in trend in IT industry. Ms. Bhawana Khurana, Senior Executive (HR) and Mr. Vishal Khanna (Manager, HR) handled the queries of the students. Mrs. Priyanka Sharma from Department of Commerce & Management and Mrs. Hardeep Kaur from Department of Computer Science & IT accompanied the students.
Outcome – Students have learnt about the work culture of SimbaQuartz. The experts of SimbaQuartz explained the students about digital marketing, career options and IT services all over the world. The students of Computer Science & IT have implemented the experienced gained from this field visit in their projects and reports as well.
