NSS Units organised "An Extension Talk" to celebrate 'Swachhta Pakhwada' at Village Rupanpur and Vijjola. The aim of this seminar was to aware villagers about the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. Dr. Arshbir Kaur, MBBS, MD(Medicine) from Civil Hospital, Kapurthala delivered an informative talk on Cleanliness and advised to curb the use of single use plastic. She also discussed about the better hygiene as precaution from COVID 19. The Doctor explained that healthy surroundings lead to healthy body and healthy mind.

Motive-The purpose of this activity was to inform the women of the village about the importance of cleanliness l and to make them aware of keeping their surroundings clean.

Outcome - The villagers came to know that their health will be good only if there is cleanliness around their household. The villagers also came to know that with cleanliness they can protect themselves epidemic like Covid-19.
