Workshop on 'Hair Cuts' was organized by the Department of Cosmetology was organized for the students. In this workshop, Mrs. Ekta Ahuja, a beauty expert from Beauty : The Family Salon and Academy, elaborated the concepts of various hair cuts.

Motive: The motive of this workshop was to provide the practical information to the students about hair cuts, new techniques of hair styling and increased their interest in this area.

Outcome:
Resource Person of the Workshop, elaborated the concepts of various hair cuts. Students were made aware that it is very important to take care of D- degree while cutting hair so that there is no problem in cutting the hair and the result of the cutting is satisfactory. They realised that the hair cutting is an area in which more profits can be earned with less investment. They were also given the demonstration of Straight, U, V and Layer cuts.
