Publish an issue of college Magazine,
Hindu Kanya College Magazine every
year. It comprises of Hindi, English,
Punjabi, Sanskrit, Planning Forum,
Home Sc., Social Sciences, Information
Technology, Music, Commerce and
News-Views Section. An Editorial
board consisting of Lecturers and
students control the whole work
of publishing the Magazine. It gives
an opportunity to students and staff
to write theme-fully and creatively
on different issues. Prizes are
given to the best contribution in
different sections |

Council: |

A
students’ council consisting of
Head girl, Vice Head girl, representatives
from all classes is always available
for students’ grievances and problems
to be conveyed to authorities and
to participate in policy making
process for major activities of
the college, functions and new projects
of the college. |

| Alumni
Association: |
| |
An
old student’s Alumni Association
is working in which ex-students
have been enrolled. College arranges
re-union day of the members of this
Association and honors the students
getting prestigious positions or
contributing remarkably for social
organizations or social causes. |

| Tutorial
System: |
| |
All
the students are grouped into different
tutorial groups with specific names
for each group. Fortnightly meetings
are arranged with important agendas
for students. It is compulsory for
the students to attend such meetings.
These meetings help in close supervision
on students and also for a better
relation between teachers and the
taught. |

Trips and Tours: |

For
a wider exposure, educational trips
and tours are arranged. Students
go to book fairs, industrial houses,
Fashion Houses for seeing their
practical working. A staff committee
is always available to arrange such
trips and tours. |

Classes for Competitive Exams: |

To
provide the facility of a coaching
centre for competitive exams for
aspiring students the college with
the help of staff members and an
N.G.O. ‘Samkalp’ has arranged for
guidance and study material. These
classes will be held during the
vacation or on holidays at nominal
charges. |

Classes: |

Realizing
the utility of Vocational skills,
college lecturers having expertise
and professional experts from outside
are arranged to provide hobby classes
to students when they are free in
holidays or after Annual Examination
on nominal charges to impart them
skills. |

Insurance Scheme: |
| |
Student
Safety Accident Insurance Scheme
has been introduced for the benefit
of students of this college. It
covers accident, injury etc. |

| Counseling
Bureau for students: |
| |
A
counseling bureau of staff members
works to guide the students for
selecting streams/subjects/courses
as per their aptitude. It also helps
the students who approach them with
some personal tension or problem.
So, stress management is done by
this bureau. |

| Suggestion/Complaint
Box: |
| |
A
Suggestion/Complaint box is always
lying near administrative office.
Any student, if she has some serious
problem, can put in any suggestion/complaint
in that box without disclosing her
identity for necessary action. |

| Meeting
with Principal: |
| |
If
a student wants to discuss something
personally, she is allowed to contact
the Principal personally on any
working day during the hours fixed
for the purpose. |
