Instructions
1. Morning Assembly: Morning
Assembly daily after 3rd period is a regular
feature of the college functioning where
patriotic songs are recited collectively
and important announcements are made. It
is compulsory for all to attend it.
2. Identity Card: Every
student is issued an identity cum library
card in the beginning of the session. That
identity card should always be with the
student. If any student is found without
it, may be fined heavily. If it gets lost
the student should get a new issued from
library immediately. All are to read the
rules and regulations written in identity
card very carefully.
3. Uniform wearing: Monday
and Friday are two uniform days. All must
wear prescribed uniform i.e. white cotton
salwar, kameej and cotton dupatta. In winters,
on Uniform days, students can wear maroon
sweater or blazer coat or can use maroon
shawl.
4. Attendance: A student
is supposed to attend the classes (Theory/Practical)
punctually. Those who are caught missing
the classes, while they are present in college
campus, without any special reason, will
be subjected to strict disciplinary action
by the competent authority. If a student
abstains herself from the college for 7
days continuously without applying for leave,
her name may be struck off the college rolls.
She may be re-admitted on payment of re-admission
fee along-with absence fine. Her Lectures
shall not be counted till she is re-admitted.
5. Eligibility for University Examination:
To earn eligibility for appearing
in Annual Examination, a student must attend
at least 75% of the lecturers delivered
in each subject. Lectures in Theory and
Practical will be counted separately.
6. House Examination: To
assess the progress of the students, House
Examination are held twice during the year.

A
student abstaining herself from House
Examination shall be fined heavily
and can also be detained from appearing
in Board/University examinations. |
| ii.

Students
of all classes must obtain at least
25% marks in the aggregate in the
House Examination. |
| iii. |
Exemption from an examination on account
of illness or any other special reason
must be secured personally from the
Principal well in time. |
| iv. |
In
case a student falls sick during examination
days, leave application supported
by Medical Certificate should be submitted
to the Principal immediately after
a student falls sick. No leave application
will be entertained after the examination
is over. |
| v. |
Absence
or leave from examination for whatever
reason means nil result and may cause
detention at student’s responsibility. |
| vi. |
A
student found guilty of unfair means
during an examination will be subjected
to deterrent punishment, which may
be expulsion from the college or disqualification
from Board/University examinations. |

Students
getting top positions in their respective
classes and in particular subject
will be awarded Merit Certificates
and prizes etc. |

8. Attendance in Functions:
College arranges functions for all or sometimes
for different departments. These functions
are an extra endeavour to educate the students
in an informal mode. It is compulsory for
students to attend the same.
Students are to note that all holidays and
vacation are clearly mentioned in prospectus.
They should read carefully and are not to
use telephone for enquiry.
9. Subject based Societies:
College offers various subjects based societies
and clubs to students for extra activities
and personality development. Students are
to join these associations to involve themselves
in extracurricular activities.

10.
Students are advised to see the notices
displayed on various Notice Boards of the
college regularly. They are also instructed
not to tear or remove the notice. Defaulters
will be fined heavily.
11.
Rules for Library: Students are
to note the following rules for Library.

While
sitting in Library they should have
their identity card with them. |
| 2.

They
should be careful for issuing and returning
of Library Books according to rules
to avoid fine etc. |
| 3. |
Reference
books, rare books and periodicals will
not be issued. But they can get the
photocopies of the material if they
require on request to library staff. |
| 4.
|
Students
will be responsible for the damage of
the books. So before getting it issued,
they should check the books. |
| 5.
|
Library
working hours shall be fixed by the
Principal. |
| 6.
|
The
books which are costly than the Library
security won’t be issued. |
Special
Instruction for BA Part-III students:
“Dignity of Labour” is the golden principle
of life. So students of Part-III before
leaving this institution must involve themselves
in making all arrangements of functions
of the college and contribute actively.
It is obligatory for a student to give 5
hours at least in a year for this purpose
only then they will be issued character
certificate.

All students getting admission in this college

and regulations written in prospectus.
